On October 15, 2021, Prof. Alejandro A. Franco is giving an invited lecture in the Workshop “30 years of port-Hamiltonian systems & 60th anniversary of Bernhard Maschke”, taking place in hybrid format (Berlin, Germany, and online). This workshop is organized within the International Federation of Automatic Control, and it is in honor of Prof. Bernhard Maschke (Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, Lyon, France), the former PhD supervisor of Prof. Franco. Prof. Franco's lecture title is "Digital Twins of Battery Manufacturing Processes", and he is going to present the latest research works achieved in the ARTITIC project. Prof. Franco is also going to illustrate how the science he learned from Prof. Mashcke is impacting his day-by-day research.
