Prof. Alejandro A. Franco
You are very welcome to attend the 3rd International Battery Manufacturing Days - Webinar Series that will take place online in six different sessions on Monday, June 13 (afternoon session), Tuesday, June 14 (morning and afternoon sessions), Thursday, June 16 (afternoon session) and Friday, June 17 (morning and afternoon sessions), 2022. The morning sessions will start at 10:00 AM (CEST) and end around 12:30 PM (CEST), while the afternoon sessions will start at 2:00 PM (CEST) and end around 5:20 PM (CEST). You can find the program with the details of each one of the six webinar sessions here.
This is the third edition of this scientific event that has been organized before, both in the years 2020 and 2021, within the context of the outreach activities of the ARTISTIC project, an innovative and multi-disciplinary initiative funded by the European Research Council (ERC) and that is mainly devoted at improving the efficiency of the current electrode fabrication process and ensuring that rechargeable battery technologies with emerging chemistries become a reality. The 2020 and 2021 versions of this webinar were followed by 1700+ persons from all over the world, who have always provided excellent feedback when evaluating this event. The recorded presentations of the 2020 and 2021 versions of the webinar can be found below.
This event is free of charge for both speakers and attendees. As in previous editions, the program brings together presentations from world-class battery scientists along with presentations from various members of the ARTISTIC team. These presentations, that will include the introduction of new battery manufacturing models and a live demonstration of the recently upgraded ARTISTIC online services, will allow you to get an overview of the latest contributions derived from the work carried out within the project during the past year. Do not miss the opportunity and register to attend this live event (some of the talks and discussions might not be recorded).
Confirmed invited speakers include Prof. Richard Braatz (MIT, USA), Dr. Javier Carrasco (CIC Energigune, Spain), Dr. Isidora Cekic-Laskovic (FZ Jülich, Germany), Dr. Simon Clark (SINTEF Industry, Norway), Dr. Sam Cooper (Imperial College London, UK), Prof. Juergen Janek (Justus Liebig University Giessen, Germany), Prof. Arno Kwade (TU Braunschweig, Germany), Prof. Matt McDowell (Georgia Tech, USA), Prof. Partha Mukherjee (Purdue University, USA), Dr. Scott Roberts (Sandia National Laboratories, USA) and Dr. Claire Villevieille (LEPMI, France).
The speakers from the ARTISTIC team include Prof. Alejandro A. Franco (ARTISTIC project PI, Université de Picardie Jules Verne), Dr. Alain Ngandjong, Jiahui Xu, Chaoyue Liu, Dr. Franco Zanotto, Mohammed Al-Abdali, Dr. Diana Zapata Dominguez, Marc Duquesnoy and Dr. Fernando Caro.
The detailed program of the ARTISTIC webinar 2022 is available here. To follow the various sessions of the webinar you just need to complete the free registration with your email address here. Keep in mind that each one of the six webinar session requires a different registration.
You are the welcome to participate in the 2nd International Battery Manufacturing Days - Webinar Series, taking place every day from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM (CEST), from 21st to 25th of June 2021.
This is the 2021 edition of the International Battery Manufacturing Days – Webinar Series that we have organized for the first time in 2020 within the context of the ARTISTIC Project dealing with battery manufacturing modeling and characterization, lead by Prof. Alejandro A. Franco and funded by the European Research Council. Last year event was a great success: the Webinar Series had 650+ registrants from all over the World and excellent feedback from attendees.
Free of charge, this Webinar Series is devoted to battery scientists and engineers, stakeholders as well as to students interested in the energy field. It aims at creating a forum of discussion about the links between battery manufacturing process and electrode properties, encompassing both (physical and machine learning) modeling and experimental approaches. The agenda combines talks given by the ARTISTIC project team members and invited lectures given by recognized battery scientists from Europe and North America.
After having introduced the online App "Data Explorer" in 2020, this year the ARTISTIC project team members will present the ARTISTIC latest works and will introduce the "Online Manufacturing Digital Twin", an online service which will allow users to launch battery electrode manufacturing simulations from Internet, to analyze and download the calculation results, among others, everything free of charge. Check the Program and register here
Confirmed invited speakers include Prof. Shirley Meng (University of California San Diego), Dr. Scott Roberts (Sandia National Lab), Dr. Sam Cooper (Imperial College of London), Elixabete Ayerbe (CIDETEC Energy Storage), Dr. Donal Finegan (NREL), Prof. Martin Bazant (MIT), Prof. Sebastian Thiede (University of Twente), Prof. Paul Shearing (UCL), Prof. Arnulf Latz (DLR), Prof. Bernard Lestriez (IMN), Dr. Margret Wohlfahrt-Mehrens (ZSW) and Dr. Yinghui Yin (SAFT Batteries).
From the ARTISTIC project side, speakers include Prof. Alejandro A. Franco (ARTISTIC project PI, Université de Picardie Jules Verne), Dr. Alain Ngandjong, Mehdi Chouchane, Teo Lombardo, Abbos Shodiev, Jiahui Xu, Chaoyue Liu, Marc Duquesnoy, Dr. Oier Arcelus and Dr. Fernando Caro.

On the week of June, 29th 2020, we have organized the ARTISTIC Project Webinar Series : "First Battery Manufacturing Days". This webinar series aimed to develop a forum of discussion about the links between battery manufacturing process and electrode properties, encompassing both modeling and experimental approaches. Free of charge, this Webinar Series was devoted to battery scientists and engineers as well as to students interested in the energy field. The schedule combined talks given by the ARTISTIC project members and invited talks given by active battery scientists from Europe and North America. In this occasion, the ARTISTIC project members presented their latest works and introduced the first version of the "Data Explorer", an interactive Web App which allow users to have access and reuse the project database. The invited speakers covered a wide diversity of linked topics, such as battery aqueous processing, autonomous discovery of materials, electrode microstructure-properties links, machine learning generation of electrode microstructures, impedance characterization of porous electrodes and much more ! The detailed program is available here.
