On February 7, 2022, it was announced that Prof. Alejandro A. Franco is recipient of an ERC Proof of Concept Grant !  His project SMARTISTIC, the brother of ARTISTIC, will help to bridge the gap between the ARTISTIC project results and their early phases of commercialisation. SMARTISTIC will bring the ARTISTIC deliverables into lithium ion battery prototyping and production lines thanks to a Mixed Reality technology which will provide real time assistance to battery scientists, technicians and engineers.
