On June 25, 2018, Abbos Shodiev is joining the ARTISTIC ERC team for a PhD on the computational modeling of the lithium ion battery electrode fabrication modeling. More specifically, he will work on Lattice Boltzmann techniques in order to simulate the electrolyte impregnation of the porous electrode mesostructures predicted by Coarse Grained Molecular Dynamics. In strong interaction with the project experimental activities, Abbos will contribute at advancing the understanding of the influence of the materials properties on this important fabrication step.
