On January 23, 2020, Prof. Alejandro A. Franco and his pedagogic team (Dr. Emilie Loup-Escande and Dr. Jean-Noël Chotard) are receiving the national Prize on Pedagogy Innovation PEPS 2019 for their work on the development and use of Virtual Reality (VR) serious games to teach Electrochemical Energy Storage technologies at the University level and also to disseminate battery concepts among the large public (Réalité Virtuelle pour l'Enseignement du Stockage et la Conversion Electrochimique de l'Energie (VISION)). These VR serious games include mathematical models and results developed and obtained in the ARTISTIC project. Prize ceremony is taking place in Cité des Sciences, in Paris, France.
